Google has announced a $100 million quantum computing partnership with the University of Chicago and the University of Tokyo. The aim of the partnership is to accelerate the development of a fault-tolerant quantum computer through critical research, exchange of researchers and ideas, entrepreneurship and business support, and workforce training.
