The integration of Semrush with Yoast SEO empowers users to optimize their WordPress site’s content for search engines by leveraging Semrush’s data on high-performing keywords without leaving the site editor. By using the Related Keyphrases tool in Yoast SEO, site owners can find and target relevant keywords and ideas, optimize content for ranking higher, and increase visibility. To enable the integration, users must open the Yoast SEO sidebar in the WordPress Editor, enter a focus keyword, and click “Get Related Keyphrases” to log into or register for a Semrush account. The integration is available on both the free and premium versions of Yoast, but the latter provides more features, including the ability to target up to five keyphrases and receive recommendations from the tool. The number of keyphrase searches per day depends on the user’s Semrush account type, ranging from 10 for the free account to 50,000 for the business account. Users can start optimizing their site’s content by opening any page or post in the WordPress editor and entering their focus keyword, finding related keyphrases in the Yoast sidebar, selecting their target keyphrases, and using Semrush’s keyword overview tool to analyze and choose the most effective keywords.
