LinkedIn Ads rolling out generative AI, new ad formats

LinkedIn is introducing new tools and ad formats including generative AI that suggests headlines and text copy for ads based on businesses’ LinkedIn Pages and AI-powered In-Stream Video ads. The company is also introducing Conversation Ads, which allow businesses to set up multiple call-to-action buttons and collect leads and Thought Leader Ads, which create fast-paced, bold, and colorful video advertisements using conversational language. In-Stream ads are to be rolled out in the summer, while AI Copy Suggestions is currently being trialed. These new tools are hoped will improve audience reach, more efficiently target businesses’ core audiences, improving ROI and increase revenue.
