Google files lawsuit over fake review scams

Google has allegedly been selling video ads to marketers that violate its own standards approximately 80% of the time. Advertisers have been paying premium prices for a service that Google has failed to deliver, costing them billions of dollars. Many advertisers have expressed regret over purchasing Google’s True View ad product. Google’s primary video ad product, True View, is featured on YouTube and other platforms. Google has been accused of misleading advertisers by not providing promised audio, placing ads in low-value places, and placing ads on websites that don’t meet Google’s standards. Google has denied these claims and stated that the majority of video ad campaigns serve on YouTube. Adalytics, a crowd-sourced advertising performance optimization platform, conducted the investigation into Google’s ad practices.
