Meta has introduced new tools and updates to help protect the intellectual property of brands. These tools make it easier for businesses to monitor brand impersonation, prevent scams, report intellectual property infringement, and block infringing content across Facebook and Instagram. The updated tools include an updated Brand Rights Protection Manager platform, a new Intellectual Property Reporting Center, and a new “Protecting Businesses” section on the Meta for Business website. The updates aim to simplify reporting infringement and business impersonation, expand the reference library, and offer new features for brands to manage and protect their copyrighted content at scale. The Meta for Business website also has a new guide to assist businesses in creating a brand protection strategy and reducing the effects of brand misuse.
