Pinterest is launching its first-ever streaming show on February 23. The six-episode cooking series will allow viewers to scan an on-screen QR code to access a Pinterest board with shoppable Pins. Shoppers and viewers will be engaged with the show, which will feature celebrity guests and end with a special “shop the show” companion episode. Showcasing products on streaming shows is a chance for brands to engage with a highly-engaged audience. Pinterest aims to strengthen its position as a product discovery platform.
