In the latest Whiteboard Friday video, Larry Waddell from Seer Interactive explains how to translate SEO work for clients into how executives think of value, specifically business value. He introduces two frameworks – the value pyramid and the four forms of business value – to help teams understand the task at hand and the importance of business problems. The higher up the value pyramid one is situated, the greater perceived value for the client, and thus, the less fee competition and more career progression opportunities. Lastly, Larry emphasizes the four types of business value – increasing revenue, gross profit, reducing cost, and insurance value.
