Audi History Almanac
An interactive brand-history experience for Audi: browse the marque and its Auto Union heritage by decade, with car timelines and archival stories.
The Audi History Almanac turned a century of the marque into something you could browse: pick a decade, and the cars, the people, and the stories assemble around you.
A collaboration with a fellow designer, built as an interactive brand-history experience. Dark, editorial, and archival, the opposite of a spec sheet.
The experience
- Browse by decade; a timeline from the Horch and Auto Union roots forward, each era its own view.
- Car cards; models surfaced with dates and detail, from the 1937 Horch 583 onward.
- Archival stories; “where the legend began,” designer notes, and heritage written to be read, not skimmed.
The whole thing traded on restraint: deep reds on near-black, generous space, and type that let the history carry the DRAMA.
Make heritage feel alive and a visitor stays. It is the same reason I now build content that answers before it sells; different decade, same instinct, earn the time.
