Lucky Puppy Brand and E-Commerce Build

A full-stack build for a designer-puppy business: brand identity, a WooCommerce storefront with custom availability scheduling, and a social content engine.

Lucky Puppy sells doodles; families do not buy a puppy on price, they buy on trust. The whole build had to earn that.

I built the brand and the store, end to end. Identity, a WooCommerce storefront, the custom code that ran it, and a content system to keep it full.

The build

  • Brand; a paw-mark identity and wordmark, applied from favicon to storefront.
  • Store; a WooCommerce site for a live, one-of-one inventory (each puppy is a single SKU that sells once). Off-the-shelf e-commerce assumes restockable products; this did not.
  • Custom code; I wrote a WooCommerce availability-scheduler plugin so a puppy could be reserved on a real timeline, plus breed-identifier tagging and a LostMyPet line item added automatically at checkout.
  • Content; a steady social library built on the breeder’s real puppy photography and extended with AI-assisted images, art-directed to one consistent look so social and the site never ran dry.

Why it worked

A puppy is an emotional, high-consideration purchase with a supply of exactly one. The site had to hold trust and handle scarcity at the same time. The custom scheduling made the scarcity honest; the content made the trust feel earned.

Small business, real constraints. The same instinct I bring to larger systems now: when the off-the-shelf tool does not fit the model, WRITE the piece that does.
