Tibotec Therapeutics Program Identity
A cross-conference event identity for Tibotec's HIV therapeutics programs: books of events and physician invitations under one brand system.
Tibotec brought HIV therapeutics to the clinicians who prescribe them; the work reached those clinicians at the conferences where the science is argued.
I designed the identity those programs traveled under. A book-of-events cover series and physician invitations, built so a Tibotec presence at three different conferences still read as one voice.
One system, many cities
Each conference got the same architecture and a local face: a host-city landmark rendered in the brand palette, the dot-matrix motif from the Tibotec mark, and a fixed navy, green, and blue band system.
- Books of Events; Toronto for the XVI International AIDS Conference (the CN Tower), San Francisco for the 46th ICAAC (the Golden Gate).
- Invitations; CROI in Los Angeles and a dessert reception at ICAAC, the same brand in two tones.
Why consistency was the job
Infectious-disease congresses are dense, credentialed rooms; a pharmaceutical brand earns attention by looking as RIGOROUS as the data on the podium. The system made every Tibotec touchpoint recognizable at a glance, which let a small footprint feel like a considered presence.
Two decades on, the surface changed from a conference hall to a search result; the job did not. Consistency is how a brand earns trust before it says a word.
